Cta CLinic Testimonials

9/3/11
Dear Dr. Kelley, Lyn, Amy, & Jennifer,

We can’t thank you enough for your extraordinary care, but we hope that this testimonial will help others know how fortunate they will be if they bring their cats to your practice.  We’ve brought our cats here since moving to the South Shore 12 years ago, and have been cat people for 50 years.  You all (and Dr. Averill before he retired) are the best we’ve ever known in all those years and across many states.  We feel we are treated like family by all of you and that you have known our cats as individuals and have loved them too.  As our cats have aged and developed health problems, you have worked with us to find the right balance of care for them, giving us clear and thorough information, and always supporting our decisions, which usually have been to let them age without a lot of medical interventions. When the time has come to euthanize one of our cats, we’ve felt fully supported, and that you all have genuinely shared our loss.

Last month you showed us yet again how lucky we are to know you.  When one of our elderly cats was suddenly and excruciatingly struck with feline ATE early on a Sunday morning we had her euthanized at your recommended emergency vet service. It all happened so fast that afterwards I began to doubt the decision. I made an appointment with Dr. Kelley who spent 40 minutes with us talking over what happened from our cat’s perspective so we could understand and feel confident that euthanizing her had been the best decision. She then called the emergency vet to make sure we had all the information. Your caring and compassion, and clarity, were truly extraordinary. Our gratitude goes far beyond words.

With deep appreciation,
Metta & Stephen

Dear Dr. Kelley,

The Cat Clinic in Plymouth is a special place. It is a practice devoted exclusively to cats-no dogs or other critters to scare or stress our precious felines. The colorful cat wallpaper and the presence of the resident cats, Victor and Sophie, snoozing in a sunny window or strolling about can't help but make you smile, but there is so much more. Dr.
Cassandra Kelley and vet techs Lyn, Amy, and Jennifer are skilled professionals, knowledgeable and compassionate, plus the ability to listen to what the "owner" has to say. They have the right combination of ingredients that make for a perfect practice.

I know all this first hand in large part because of my beloved tabby cat, Tony. He had cancer; had his right leg completely removed, and then infections set in. He was a patient at the Cat Clinic for nearly three weeks receiving tender, extraordinary care so that he could come home where he continued to live happily. I worried about him and called the clinic often for advice and reassurance. When I took him back for an examination about a year ago, Dr. Kelley using the best of lab and medical equipment, determined that the cancer had come back. His vital signs were weak. Tony and I had a strong bond, but he had one with everyone at The Cat Clinic, too. Neither Dr. Kelley nor I were expecting to put Tony "to sleep" that day. The decision was mine, of course, but I did seek their input. She told me she would have to be very professional in order to do this. She and Lin (who was there) quickly did what they had to do and then we cried. They let me stay as long as I wanted to with him.

I have another cat, Holly, older and different from Tony, but much loved, nevertheless. I still call once in awhile for advice and bring her for her annual checkup. There is no other place I would go except The Cat Clinic.
I feel like they are part of my family and my cat(s) family.

Dr. Cassandra Kelley and staff are first-rate and we are fortunate to have them in the area to take care of our much-loved kittens and cats. I recommend them highly to every cat person I know.

Sandy

Dear Dr Kelley,

You and your staff have been so incredibly thoughtful throughout this
whole process with my cat Zachary. You and the staff have shown such
wonderful personal care for my cat-it shows how much you truly love
these animals more than just in a medical way. You all have taken such
extra care to keep me informed throughout the process and also have
gone above and beyond to make my cat comfortable, loved and medically
cared for even though she was in the last stages of her life. I don't
know what I would have done while being out of the country....but from
all you did and informed me of long distance I know she was in t he
best care possible.

The Cat Clinic is so special in the fact that the energy is focused on
the unique needs of felines. From the moment of walking into the
office and seeing cats who you have rescued, and given a home to, who
are lounging blissfully, makes it a true mecca for cats and their
owners. To be in the hands of you and your staff at the Cat Clinic is
the best gift anyone could ask for.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your love and attention you
give to everyone who walks through that door. Each one of you shows
how much you truly love cats from the way you take care with the
owners and their cats every day. You are a special gift to the animal
world....the best place a cat and owner could have for talented,
knowledgeable and true kindness for these creatures that mean so much
to us.

Thank you to everyone for being a second family to my cat Zachary
while she had her last days on this earth. I know she was happy and
loved and given the best care possible.

Thank you.
Angela
